We deliver to over 100 countries around the world.

Shipping and transport costs are calculated based on the volume and weight of the products chosen and the place of destination. We do our best to keep them as low as possible.

WARRANTIES AND INSURANCE

To protect the furnishings, for international shipments, we tailor-made additional protections in wooden boxes in our carpentry workshop. We only use leading freight forwarders in the sector, which have branches all over the world, specializing in the transport of furniture. Also included is an all-risk insurance that covers any damage due to transport, so as to guarantee maximum safety for those who buy.

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERIES

The times that characterize an order are as follows:

- 6-8 weeks for the PRODUCTION of the furnishings: from the moment of order confirmation until the goods are available in our warehouse ( August and December excluded);
- 1 week for QUALITY CONTROL: in this phase we check the conformity of the goods with respect to the order, its integrity and arrange the shipment to the requested address;
- 1 week for DELIVERY to European Union countries;
- 2-5 weeks for DELIVERY to countries outside the European Union.

International deliveries do not include, unless expressly agreed, customs fees, taxes, duties, or all costs arising from quarantine or fumigation (such as for Australia), which should be paid by the customer before delivery. Failure to pay may lead to delays (for which Tomassini Arredamenti does not assume responsibility) and, in the most extreme cases, the return of the goods to our warehouse, with the consequent charge of additional expenses. For some countries we are able to calculate and pay these costs for you too, providing an All Inclusive service (DDP - Delivered Duty Paid).

For international orders we do not carry out installation or assembly of the products.

All international deliveries are made exclusively at street level, only for areas accessible to medium / large trucks (feasibility and cost for limited traffic areas and historic centers to be confirmed). Transportation inside the building or to other floors, removal of packaging and assembly is not included. It is necessary for the customer to provide assistance to the transporter for the unloading of bulky items.

If the order includes several items, a single shipment will be made, unless otherwise agreed, which will take place after the arrival of all the products in the warehouse and after having carried out the quality control.

DELIVERIES IN ITALY

For deliveries to be made in the Italian territory, we offer three possibilities:

- Direct collection
- Standard delivery
- Delivery and assembly

Direct collection

It provides for direct collection from our warehouse, and is a free option available for all products.

If you wish to personally collect the ordered products, you can do so after their arrival and after quality control at our showroom in Terni, at the following times:

Standard delivery

If the destination is an apartment, a single-level or multi-level house, the goods will be delivered at the entrance to the building, on the street level. Standard delivery does not include the transport of the goods either inside the building or to the upper or lower floors.

It can only be requested for areas accessible to a truck / motor vehicle, and the feasibility and cost of the Limited Traffic Areas and Historic Centers must always be checked.

In some cases it may be necessary to provide assistance to the transporter for the unloading of bulky items.

Standard delivery does not include removal of the packaging, installation and assembly of the furniture.

Average delivery times are 7-10 days from the arrival of the goods in our warehouse.

Delivery and assembly

Delivery including assembly is available upon customer request and with costs to be quantified. It includes a delivery by appointment, the assembly and installation of the furniture in the chosen room, and the removal / disposal of the packaging.

The delivery including assembly is not available for lamps or for deliveries outside Italy, and does not include the installation of electrical systems for the lamps, nor the fixing to the wall for mirrors or paintings.

DELIVERY FAQ

How do I know when the goods will be delivered?
You will always be updated via email on the status of your order, and when the goods are ready in our warehouse we will contact you for delivery .

What are the additional wooden packaging?
Before making an international shipment, after having carried out the quality control, in addition to the standard packaging provided by the manufacturers ( generally polystyrene and cardboard) we build additional wooden boxes to guarantee maximum protection.

What happens if what I ordered arrives broken?
If the goods arrive damaged there is an insurance policy, always included in our shipments, which allows the replacement of the items.

What happens if what I receive is not what I ordered?
Before sending a shipment, we always check the quality and compliance with the order. However, if you receive something other than what you ordered, we will arrange for a free replacement.

How much do customs and taxes cost for an international shipment to my country?
Each country has different costs. During the purchase phase, we will put you in contact with the office of our forwarder in your area, so that we can accurately quantify them. For some countries we are able to calculate and pay these costs for you too, providing an All Inclusive service (DDP - Delivered Duty Paid).

What does Ex-works return mean?
If you have received our quote with Ex-works return from our showroom, it means that the price we have provided refers only to the goods: you will take care directly transport (costs and risks), collecting directly from our office, and all accessory charges (any taxes, duties, etc ...).

Which means C.I.F. (Cost, Insurance and Freight)?
If you have received our quote with C.I.F. port (or airport), it means that the price we have given you includes both the goods and the transport from our warehouse to the port (or airport) indicated. You will have to take care of the delivery from there to your address (costs and risks), and any additional charges (taxes, duties, etc ..., for the countries that provide for it).

Which means D.A.P. (Delivered At Place)?
If you have received our quote with D.A.P. your address, it means that the price we have given you includes both the goods and the transport to your address (street level). You will only have to deal with any additional charges (taxes, duties, etc ..., for the countries that provide for it).

Which means D.D.P. (Delivered Duty Paid)?
If you have received our quote with D.D.P. your address, it means that the price we have provided includes: the goods, transport to your address (at street level), and all ancillary charges relating to customs clearance (taxes, duties, etc ...). You will only have to pay any local taxes.

Can you deliver inside my home?
It is possible only in Italy, upon request during the purchase phase, while all international deliveries are made exclusively on the street level and it is necessary for the customer to provide assistance to the transporter for the unloading of bulky items.

Do you ship items of the same order separately?
If the order includes several items, a single shipment will be made, unless otherwise agreed during the purchase phase, which will take place after the arrival of all the products in the warehouse and after having carried out the quality control.

Can you bill the customs for a lower amount than the real one?
No, we can't: it's illegal.
