The Italian manufacture Acerbis showcased in Milan International Fair 2014 new items designed by Massimo Castagna. The materials, stones, concrete, glass, metals and wood, with natural or special finishings, are combined to create contrasts and new furniture solutions.
The beauty of marble with its clear grains and the contrast with an inner metal structure characterize Maxwell table. Of big size, round, with three legs and top divided in V-sections, Maxwell perfectly blends with the Seltz chair, one of Acerbis well-known products.
Concrete becomes a main character of the Xplane table, available in black or white. Four small pillars with square section cross to make a base for a top in glass, available in the transparent or transparent gray versions.
Grand Buffet storage unit is characterized by an innovative horizontal cut of the doors. With a touch of the hand, the upper door opens and becomes a convenient serving surface, while the lower door opens with a drop down mechanism. Despite its lightweight design, the storage capacity of Grand Buffet is high.
Together with these three novelties, in Milan Acerbis also showcased cult items in new version. This is the case of the Pond coffee table, presented with tops in different finishings such as glass and stone.
Axis table too had a space in the Milan fair stands. Characterized by a very thin glass or wood top, supported by mirroring steel legs, it was showcased next to Smartwall wall system, an all-in-one container for books, objects, tv and available on request with SoundBar (an extractable dock for the reproduction of media files from smartphones or other devices).
