The Salone del Mobile 2015 is upon us and many brands of furniture and design have already shown previews of the new products they will be launching at the most important industry event of the year. Among these Moroso, which in 2015 is focusing on the intermediate space between design, architecture and art.
Since its beginnings, Moroso is a company devoted to research and experimentation, able to overcome the obvious and conventional, enhancing and promoting the difference as a positive and distinctive value.
At the Salone del Mobile 2015 Moroso is presenting a selection of products that highlights the company’s link with contemporary art. The Vis à Vis exhibition at Fuori Salone will feature the brand’s iconic pieces reinterpreted in a new key.
For the 2015 edition of the Salone del Mobile Moroso asked designers like Nendo, Martino Gamper and Ron Arad, to be inspired by the concept of beauty. The result is a collection of products with incredibly creative and innovative design.
Soft, rounded lines distinguish the Glider sofa, in both stable and rocking version. Glider is upholstered in Blur fabric, esclusively produced by Febrik for Moroso in this gradation that fades from red to purple.
Born from the historic collaboration with Nendo these products feature a minimalist and essential design. The collection plays with geometry to create a sense of lightness and weightlessness.
The chair made by Martino Gamper for Moroso has a clean and simple style characterized by the continuity of the lines from the legs to the back. The bold color combined with the retro look pays homage to Italian design.
