In December 2016 the new Women’s Health Prevention Centre was inaugurated.
For over 20 years this medical-ginecological centre has been leader in the Italian health sector, on the same level as the most modern European health organisations. In fact it offers complete services of diagnostic imaging, specialized and laboratory diagnosis.
The idea of the new centre is to have a reference centre with state-of-the-art equpment where all prevention instruments and services, diagnosis and treatment of female pathology can be found.
The centre covers an area of approximately 400 sq.m and houses a waiting room, offices and consultation rooms. The project, by archtect Paola Margheriti, had to take into account not only the aesthetic aspect but its functionality as well. The available space made it possible to collocate the latest series of apparatus in the consultation rooms.
The furnishing in these rooms are made in melamine with an abs border, according to regulations in force.
Neutral shades are the true protagonist of this project. A sequence of elegant chromatic combinations accompany the visitor from reception to the consultation rooms.
The Sikkens painted walls are in different shades of dove grey while the floor is in wood effect ceramic by Marazzi.
The walls are adorned with original pictures in lichen, the latest in interior design. Not only an aesthetic choice but also an innovative way of preventing the formation of mould.
Inside the centre made-to-measure furniture has greatest emphasis: such as the seating area in the reception and comunal areas in melamine with abs edge, finished in White and Durmast Style Marrone, made by the German company Pfleiderer.
To make the most of the available room, wooden panelling which can be opened is inserted in service areas and along the corridor. The panels, in light grey lacquered mdf were made by Falegnameria Tomassini.
Timeless style and airiness characterize the executive office with the elegant Air Desk by Gallotti & Radice. Made in Italy quality also for seats with the Kimera lobby chair and Kameo chairs by Kastel. The innovative and original Mamba lamp by Cattelan Italy provides the illumination.
The office is completed with a ceiling high bookcase made in the Falegnameria Tomassini.
The screen for viewing diagnostic imaging is on an mdf panel.
A detailed choice of all design solutions has rendered this office a perfect blend of comfort and design. Not only a functional work place but also a welcoming and hospitable ambient where the patient immediately feels at home.
