Carlo Colombo is considered as one of the most influent Italian designers. Born in 1967, he graduated in 1993 at Politecnico di Milano but started his career as a designer even before finishing its studies, in 1992, in the company Cappellini with the creation of the Kyoto bed. He then began his collaborations with many other Italian companies, among which Flexform, Moroso, Poliform, Poltrona Frau and Zanotta. Colombo's activity extends to architecture, urban design and university with courses at the De Tao Masters Academy in Beijing.
