The French designer Jean Nouvel has designed the Skin sofa in 2007 for the Italian company Molteni&C, specialized in the production of design furniture and a symbol of quality since 1934.
This collaboration gave birth to a seating system that is absolutely out of the ordinary and unique in its kind, so much to win both the recognition of 2008 Best of the Best, participating in one of the most important awards in the design world, the Red Dot Design Award, and the 2008 Elle Deco International Design Awards. Fruit of a fusion between research and technology, Skin becomes the emblem of innovation thanks to its seat suspended in the air and supported only by the tubular steel structure covered in hide leather. The covering features geometric incisions on the surfaces which, when crossed by light, make the seat even more original and revolutionary.
The Skin seating system includes, in addition to the sofa in two different sizes, also the armchair and the pouf.
Shipping Cost
Unless otherwise specified, our quotations also include shipping costs. These are calculated according to the place of delivery and the bulk of furniture selected. The offer can include duties and taxes depending on the destination.
Shipping Time
Except for the ready-to-deliver products in the showroom, we must order goods from the manufacturer, specifying the features selected (colour, fabric and finishings).
Order processing will be as follows:
- 6-8 weeks for the MANUFACTURE of the furniture: from the order confirmation until the goods are available in our warehouse (August and December excluded);
- 1 week for QUALITY CONTROL: at this stage we verify product compliance with the order, integrity of the goods and prepare items for shipping to the specified address;
- 1 week for DELIVERY in Italy or in European Union Countries;
- 2-5 weeks for DELIVERY in non-European Union Countries.

To protect your goods during shipping, we create tailor-made wooden crates in our carpentery workshop. For shipping, we only collaborate with leading furniture carriers having branches worldwide. All prices include an all-risk insurance that covers all damage caused by transportation, guaranteeing maximum safety.
