With almost 60 years of history, the Italian company Natuzzi Italia took its first steps in 1959 in Puglia, when Pasquale Natuzzi founded his laboratory dedicating himself to the creation of handcrafted sofas. In the 70s the production grew and the first collections came to life, which determined the success and the appraisal of the Italian brand not only in the national market, but also internationally, thus allowing it to reach the listing on the Wall Street stock market in the 90s. The exponential rise of Natuzzi Italia becomes unstoppable, determining the opening of sales points all over the world, from New York to Sao Paulo, passing through Moscow and Beijing, and making the company a pride of Made in Italy in the world. The success achieved over time has not affected the principles that moved Pasquale Natuzzi to undertake his adventure: business ethics, quality of materials and products, environmental sustainability and constant innovation are still the fundamental and distinctive elements of Natuzzi Italia, and to which the company owes its numerous prizes and awards, including the entry into the "Hall of Fame American Furniture" in 2008, walked in for the first time by a non-US citizen. The Natuzzi Italia collections, initially focused on the production of leather sofas according to artisan techniques, have been gradually expanded, and today include a wide range of complements, that allow to furnish entire living areas in the refined and innovative style of the Italian brand.
