Oriano Favaretto, born in 1956, graduates at Accademia di Belle Arti in Venice with master Vedova. The Veneto country with its nature and inhabitants give him an interior and artistic inspiration and his passion for Murano glass leads him to collaborate with renowned artists of Fucina degli Angeli. In his career he was awarded many times, among which the contest among Italy academies and a grant at Fondazione Bevilacqua La Masa in 1981. In 1987 and 1982 he won the Premio Murano and Gugghenheim Peggy Collection and in 1993 the Lampada D'Oro prize. He designed the cult lamp Polipò and nowadays he creates success collections for De Majo company such as Pro Secco, Stratosfera, Perlage and Olimpia.
